UAEnic introduces direct registration under .ae
In order to meet the requirements of the Local Internet Community, UAEnic is pleased to announce an enhancement to its Domain Name Registration Service. The service, allows commercial entities to register Domain Names under the .ae address instead of the existing registration .co.ae address.
New commercial entity applicants will be given the .ae address i.e. a shorter Domain Name such as www.etisalat.ae, www.alittihad.ae and www.dubai.ae. Existing Domain Name holders with the .co.ae address can have the option to retain the existing name.
Entities interested in replacing their .co.ae Domain Names with the .ae address can forward their request by email.
We will be happy to carry out the replacement free of charge.
